Bibles are needed in the Philippines. The International Christian Discipleship Ministries is raising funds to purchase about 500 Bibles, to be given to believers of the Capital Alliance Church, and to students at their Bible College.

The need is for English Language Bibles, with both the New and the Old Testaments. In the local dialect of their native language, they only have available the New Testament. But, if they could obtain Bibles with both the Old and the New Testament, in English, they would be deeply blessed.

In the Philippines, obtaining a Bible of this kind in English would cost around 30 USD ($30), which is very expensive on their economy. Bibles are a rare luxury for them, in this area of the Philippines. Five to ten people have to gather around one person who has a Bible, just to try to see the written Word of God. Students are waiting to share a Bible, just to get time in the Word.

By providing these 500 Bibles, every one in that community can have direct access to the Bible. This will be a treasure, enabling each person to dig deeper into God’s loving message to us.

The International Christian Discipleship Ministries is currently fund-raising with the goal of obtaining 500 NIV (New International Version) Bibles (Old and New Testaments), with a mix of Large Print, and regular size print. These Bibles are needed as soon as possible.
